Retail Location Study in Ludwigsburg

For the city of Ludwigsburg two alternative locations for a grocery supermarket were examined. As part of the assessment process, the advantages and disadvantages of both alternate sites were compared. Under traffic-related aspects of the study, the traffic volumes impact of both locations on the adjacent road network was examined. On the basis of the assignment of newly induced traffic volumes to the road network, the resulting forecast traffic volumes were presented and recommendations were made.
